Material Preview not working in 5.2

No material preview in 5.2 from what I can tell. I have tried several things to get it to work with no avail.

Hi ValeroStudio,

Can you open the Log Window and check if there is an error printed there?
The Log Window has a source filter where you can choose Asset preview renderer to narrow the search.



If you don't see anything there you can click on the folder icon in the Log Window.
This will open the folder where the logs are stored and the current log file will be selected.
Please share it for further investigation.

I'd also recommend you try a clean install of V-Ray.
It is possible that there is a leftover configuration file causing the issue.

Have you been using the GPU preview mode before installing the latest version?
If for some reason GPU Preview is selected it might be compiling kernels and not showing anything.

I performed a clean install and the issue remains. Material preview is set to CPU
