  • Colour Variance in V-Ray Tiles (Flemish bond)

I have repeatedly run into a problem with V-Ray for Sketchup when creating brick textures with Tiles.

The workflow I am currently following is:
    1. Creating a new material
    2. Adding Tiles to the diffuse texture slot
    3. Setting the pattern type to 'Common Flemish Bond'
    4. Increasing the horizontal and vertical count to (for example) 10 and 26
    5. Setting 'Colour Variance' to 1.25
    6. Setting 'Line Shift' to 0 (as a Flemish bond should be)
While it appears fine with 'Line Shift' set to 0.5, this setting appears to shift only the mortar, and not the block colour within the tiles/bricks themselves. It occurs in both the material preview window AND in the rendered output.

See below in both screenshots how the tile colour stacks out of sync with the mortar. Is there something that I'm missing in creating the patterns, or is this a software issue?
