Issues with general rendering and light gen

Hi, I have issues to render in general, Vray can not find Skatter materials for some reason. Also, using hdri's from LightGen is suddenly not working. Using Sketchup 2022, both Vray and Skatter in latest versions. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this? Never happened before upgrading to latest versions. Thanks, Madeleine

Can you please share some more details about your issues?
If you can show some screenshots of the results that would help.
Sharing a simplified version of the project would be ideal.

One thing that I would check is if all the textures are available on disk.
You can use the V-Ray's File Path Editor to inspect the paths' validity.

Hi Konstantin, I'm checking Skatter issues directly with them because there seems to be some error on their end. However, the fact that I can't render with LightGen HDRI should be at your end. How can I send you a simplified version please? Thanks, Madeleine

So far we were unable to reproduce the LightGen behavior you reported.

You can submit a scene for investigation by using the SketchUp menu Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project and then upload the resulting archive zip file to https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Be sure to include a link to this forum thread in the description box!
Additionally, please provide the following info which will help us find a solution faster:

1. What is your operating system? (Windows / macOS)
2. Is the inability to render limited to a specific SketchUp scene or a specific HDRI file?
3. Do you apply LightGen HDRIs manually to a Dome Light / Environment Background or automatically by clicking on LightGen swatches?
4. Attempt to render and when the process fails collect the following log files:
   ● VRayForSketchUp.log (found at %APPDATA%\Chaos Group\V-Ray for SketchUp on Windows or ~/.ChaosGroup/V-Ray\ for\ SketchUp/ on macOS).
   ● vray-neui log (found by opening Extensions > V-Ray > Help > About and then clicking on V-Ray Asset Editor Session Log)
   ● Render log (copy all contents of the "Log" tab located at the VFB right-side panel and paste them in a text file via Notepad or any other similar app).
   Add all logs to the archive file produced by the "Pack Project" action:

As for the issue with Skatter materials, if it is determined this is not on their side, please let us know!
Once again, a sample project and the same log files would be truly helpful, as well as the version number of Skatter which you use (v1.4.21 or v2.1.5?)
