Hello,
I am writing to ask for your help/ advice with a Sketchup/ Vray issue.
Although I can render, I am having issues accessing the asset editor.
It doent open and sometimes there is an error message. typeerror: cannot read property 'trim' of undefined
This issue has happened out of the blue.
I am using:
MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021)
version 12.0.1 (21A559) Monterey
Sketch-up 2020
Vray 4 Next
Would you be able to help? I have de-stalled and reinstalled Vray.
I have found this info online, but I do not have the telemetry file to amend.
The issue is caused by a third party library our user interface relies on. The issue is fixed in the latest version of the library and we will switch to it asap
There is a workaround. You can edit the following file:
~/.ChaosGroup/V-Ray for SketchUp/telemetry.json
And change its contents from
{“telemetry”:1}
to
{“telemetry”:0}
Many thanks, any help would be greatly apprciated.
Emma
