  • Cosmos emissive materials not working

Hey guys, we upgraded to Vray 6, but when we apply the emissive materials from cosmos, they are not emissive, and there is no intensity slider. I also attached the old version (we had it in an older file).

    Can you check it out?

    Hello vanja_uri,

The Emissive materials available in Cosmos are Generic materials with a Self-illumination option, which does currently not have an Intensity control in V-Ray for SketchUp.
Our dev team is aware of this and have already scheduled an assessment of a proposed solution to alleviate the issue.
As a workaround I would advise you to use an invisible Sphere or Rectangle light for increasing the light emission (in addition to the object with the Emissive material).

    Kind regards,
    Iva

      Hello,

I would like to let you know that Generic material Self-Illumination option with an Intensity control will be exposed in the next update.
All Cosmos Emissive materials will also have an Intensity control.

      Kind regards,
      Iva
