  • Brick wall render

    Morning all,

I hope you are all really well and ready for the weekend !

I am rendering a project with different brick variations.

I am trying to understand if it is possible to render something like the attached photos, applying bump or displacement map straight from vray on the brick texture.

Triangular extrusion face brick wall and alternane brick wall

I think could be done with gradient but playing around with setting didn’t got me anywhere.

As a test I model brick by brick but I can t see doing this for the whole project, model will become too heavy/

As usual thanks for everyone replying and reading ! Such a great community !!!!

You can use Vray Enmesh.. Model a tilable piece of brick and use enmesh..

As usual thanks for your reply. Is this for both options ?
I tried but the result it is really wrong. Not sure which parameters need to be modified.

I am trying to create depth and it seem mesh is only 2d with wromg scale

Do you know if there is a tutorial out there that explain in depth the command ?

      Thanks

Mesh size will be the same as map size you aply to the surface.. Height value is for thickness as i know.. Just play with values in realtime render..
