Scatter doesn’t copy, paste

Hi, if I try to copy a scatter from one model to another, the scatter shows up in vray settings window but the guests do not come along with it. I have to reconnect the guests into the scatter after pasting it. Is this fixable or a problem on the SketchUp end? I have a model with 5 different scatters and it takes a while to reconnect all the guests after copying the files into another model.

Thank you for your question and please accept my sincere apologies for the late response.

The described behavior is intentional and not a bug. Otherwise, this action may lead to unwanted results, such as 'unknown' entries in the guests list.

Hi jrozansky,

The main reason for this behavior is that the internal object IDs are changing when you perform a paste or import in SketchUp.
This is done by SketchUp and it makes it impossible for us to reestablish the guests' connections.
A possible workaround might exist but we haven't been able to find such so far.
