  • Window transparency rendering background in png file

I'm working with Sketchup 2022 and Vray 6 an have setup an interior view looking to the outside through a window, so I need to see the interior reflecting in the glass. The problem is that I'm saving the image as a .png so I can setup the background in post, but the glass is rendering the background.

In the setting, I've checked off the background in the environment. I've made a mock version to better show the issue. This issue was solved in the past but with Vray 6, the option doesn't seem to be available.

    Dear irene_gomez, hello.

Since it is hard to be seen - is this just a hole in the wall or there is an object set as a window with Glass material assigned?
If the second assumption is correct, please refer to the other forum thread that you have posted.
I have answered you there some minutes ago.

A simple test is showing that if there is a window and Affect Channels in Reflection / Refraction is set to Color only (default setting if you create a new material from a Generic one) in its Glass material options, the Alpha channel will look similar to your example.
If you add Glass material from our Cosmos Library is there a difference?

Please try the tips and confirm is the issue resolved or we need to investigate further.

    Best regards,
    TS
