  • rendu vray

Can you share your Sketchup file so we can see what's going on ? (Peux-tu partager ton fichier Sketchup afin que l'on regarde ce qu'il se passe ?)

Hi, try to reset the V-Ray rendering settings.
It's the bottom circle icon with an arrow when you're in the Asset Editor's "Settings" tab.

Have you tried rendering with another file or just run Sketchup, draw a cube and run a render to see if it works.

If not, share your .SKP file with us

                  Hello jessica_cougoulic,
                  Welcome to the Chaos Forums.

Have you already tried to Revert to Default Render Settings as DCHA34 has suggested? Let us know if that helped.

If this did not help please share your scene with us and some additional information that I will list below:
                  • What is your current V-Ray version? (Extensions > V-Ray >Help > About)

Click image for larger version Name:	V-Ray_About_SU.jpg Views:	0 Size:	285.1 KB ID:	1179672
                  • I can see from your screenshot (photos vray.pdf) that you are rendering with a CPU render engine, in which case please share the screenshot of Task Manager > CPU Tab.
                  • Also, there seems to be an error in the log (indicated by the red dot). What type of error? Please open the Log Tab to check for the errors and share the screenshot of the log.

If the scene is too big to attach it on the forum, please open a ticket using this submit request form and upload the archived scene in the ticket. Please make sure to archive it with the Pack Project tool (Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project tool).

                  Thank you in advance.

Pourquoi ne pas nous envoyer ton fichier SKP ? Ce serait bien plus simple et rapide.

Why not send us your SKP file? It would be much easier and faster.

Pour ce faire, tu vas dans le menu Extensions/V-Ray/Pack Project et tu nous envoies le fichier ZIP.

To do this, go to the menu Extensions/V-Ray/Pack Project and send us the ZIP file.

                            Hello jessica_cougoulic,

Are you using SketchUp materials or V-Ray materials in this case? If these are SketchUp materials I would like to suggest replacing them with V-Ray materials - you can find a wide selection in the Cosmos Browser. Here you can also find a useful tutorial.

Apart from that your image currently looks overexposed - to adjust it you can change Exposure Values in the Asset Editor > Camera > Exposure value to match your lighting conditions.
Click image for larger version Name:	Exposure_value.jpg Views:	0 Size:	81.0 KB ID:	1179762
Generally, for exterior renders you would need an Exposure value between 12 and 15 and for interiors - between 6 and 8. You can play with the values until you get a satisfying result. Please check this diagram.

Alternatively, you can use Light Gen to generate different lighting scenarios and apply them to your scene, which will also automatically apply Exposure Value that corresponds to the scenario you choose. Please check this tutorial for more information.
Also please note that when you generate Light Gen before applying any of the scenarios you can uncheck Disable lights on application. If you have not unchecked disabling the lights - all additional lights in your scene will be disabled when you apply Light Gen and you will need to enable them manually in the V-Ray Asset Editor. Perhaps you will need to also adjust their intensity to achieve render results you are looking for.

If you still have any troubles with your scene please share it so we could take a look.
