  • Flickering shadows issue

I have an issue where shadows flicker in animations. Any suggestions please?

See link below which shows first 10 frames of animation, repeated several times (cropped to reduce file size).
Each frame has taken around 10 minutes to render.

    Hello michael_bate,
    Welcome to Chaos Forum.

Using the NVIDIA AI Denoiser is a good solution for a test render. When you are rendering the final image we suggest using V-Ray Denosier to get more precise calculations and reduce the flickering. Specifically for the animation there is a standalone Denoiser tool called VDenoise where you can Denoise your output files. It is located on your computer here:

    C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for SketchUp\extension\vray\bin

Here in our documentation you can find instructions on how to use this tool.

Please try it out and let us know if this helps.
