  • When rendering animations with JPG/PNG output the SINGLE FILE OUTPUT button causes only a single file for all frames to be over-written not one file for each frame.

When rendering animations with the JPG output set, the SINGLE FILE OUTPUT button causes only a single file for all frames to be writte, then overwrites that file for each successive frame, rather than only the RGB/effectsResult for each frame. No number is appended to that file, so it re-writes as if each frame is the first.

(Instead of 360 frames for my animation, it wrote the same file for each frame leaving me with frame 360 in a single jpg.)

    Hello Brett,
    Thank you for your post.

Please kindly note that currently Single File Output is not supported for animation. You are welcome to check the documentation notes on this here.
In order to get correct results please disable it.
