  • renders take an abnormally long time

Good morning, while I was working on a file at a certain point the renders started taking a long time to render.
Even in the scenes previously created and for which the renders took an adequate amount of time to complete, they began to be very slow.
The file also weighs little, around 276 MB, I often work with heavier files and render in much less time.

I have tried cleaning the sketchup file several times, I have also tried splitting the file into different parts but the problem persists.

For example this render has been going for 17 hours and isn't even halfway done

According to the benchmarks the GPU has no problems

I've made lots of attempts to find the problem, but I haven't found it yet, having to deliver the final ones in a few days I'm in serious difficulty, there are 9 renders and I can't imagine spending more than 20 hours on each render.

Here is the link to download the pack project of one of the split files, where the problem persists.

    Thanks to everyone.

    Hello damiano_corradini,
I apologize for the late reply. Unfortunately the WeTransfer link seems to have expired. Could you please open a ticket using this submit request form and upload the archived scene in the ticket. Please make sure to archive it with the Pack Project tool (Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project tool).

Apart from that please let us know your graphics card model and driver version (share screenshot of Task Manager).

Try to install the latest recommended driver 551.86 version using instructions from this article: Installing the recommended Windows Drivers for V-Ray GPU on Windows.
Current recommended version can be found on the top of the https://www.chaos.com/vray-gpu page. This version is tested and approved by the developers and how it works with V-Ray, so it can be different from the latest version released by NVIDIA.
