Library materials preview broken

Hello!

After importing materials from cosmos my Library material preview is broken - every material window is black. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Hello, laura_rimkiene,

If you drag and drop a material from your library into the Materials section in Asset Editor and then check the Bitmaps - are they properly loaded?

Hello Laura,

Please be informed that currently there is no option to load Cosmos materials into V-Ray Asset Editor, which is why your materials preview are black.The material folders and files you download from Chaos Cosmos locally on your machine are designed to work together with Cosmos Browser, that is why Asset Editor is unable to recognize preview files if you load them manually.

The idea is to work directly from Chaos Cosmos instead of Asset Editor as you are able to import any downloaded materials or assets to your scene directly from Chaos Cosmos. While Asset Editor Material Tab remains for you to load your own custom materials and libraries you have or will create.
