Sketchup 2025 / V-ray 7.00.2 - Globeplants textures load with squares

Hi,

When I load a model a new sketchup file, the render output of the object is not ‘cut-out’ but instead, a strange colored square is placed along the initial outlines.
On old models, all textures from Globeplants are black and having the same squares as can be seen attached.

Here, you can see the “green / amber” leaves to have squares around them…

Any advise?

Hi rt_visser,

Can you save one of the leaf materials as a vrmat and share it?
Better yet, share a simple scene with the issue (one created and saved with V-Ray 7 and one created and saved with V-Ray 6).

It seems the opacity maps of the materials are missing.
We might have to get in touch with the GlobePlants team for further investigation.
