  • changing output resolution

    hi!
another question for the ultra-fast asgvis forum: i choose a "page" in SU (with native monitor resolution in 4:3). Then i change the resolution output KEEPING the same "aspect ratio", but the image is "cutted" on two sides: i didn't look the SU original page.

Is it just on my pc?
    have a nice (render) days!

Do you have "Override Viewport" checked in our global options output section? If thats the case its just overriding the width/height without regard to the page's aspect ratio.

So, what's the best way to have exact render image like SU page w/ higher resolution than screen?(WYSWYG)
If I uncheck 'override viewport', I can get only about 1280*1024...

Get your aspect ratio from the page and go to our Output page and enter it in the Aspect Ratio box - then click the L button next to the AR to lock it. Then set whatever you want the output size to be and it will lock it to the constraints of the aspect ratio you've entered. I'll add UI to automate this process.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I did waht you said, but the image is still cropped. See below. I even undock all tool bars, but no luck.
That's why we need render region or window!

interesting - looks like a fov issue. I'll check that out. Thanks!

Oh btw - are you using the physical camera? And is the viewport in perspective?

I didn't modify this setting. Yes, it's perspective view.

Ok, just checking. I know our physical camera doesn't render non-perspective views. So I just wanted to make sure your page had a perspective camera. Thanks for the help.
