emmisive layer not rendering

  • emmisive layer not rendering

    i dont know what is wrong, i just followed the manual, emmisive color and transparency as well as diffuse color and transparency but the output is a gray flat circle, and i dont know what is worng could someone give me a hint? or had the same issue?

    It has to do with the physical camera, so increase the multiplier way more then you think you'd need and it should work. You can disable the physical camera, but that will cause the rest of your lighting to be very bright.

      thanks i did it, but i had to increase the lighting to 15 000 instead of 10 or 15, is that normal? it has an emmisive value of 15,000 and i can barely see its emmisive. thanks again ill keep trying. ;D

        When you have the physical camera enable that is normal. Basically the current lighting units aren't based on any real physical measure (they are significantly lower). So when you add something like the physical camera which is meant to work with those physical units, it means that you will have to greatly increase those units. How much you will actually have to increase the units also depends on your exposure settings from the camera, but since the default exposure is set for the sun (which is pretty bright) that means you'll have to increase things a lot. You can always decrease the exposure as well, so that you're multipliers don't have to be so crazy.
