linking vray materials in sketchup only once

does anyone know:
Is there a way to link sketchup materials to vray materials so that everytime i add a material in sketchup i don't have to reapply it in the vray plugin? something like applying or linking vray materials directly to the sketchup thumbnail material by right clicking or something.

Well, currently, No. However the service release for SU will change how materials will be handled, so you won't have to set up as many linked materials. So in the future it won't be as much of an issue. Sorry for the weird answer.

This is a service release for V-ray not Sketch up. It should be out soon, but when exactly has yet to be determined.
