generally in SU, to speed modeling up, instead of importing textures or models, i just have my libraries open and drag whatever i need into straight into sketchup... with images sketchup creates an "image" directly on dragging it in, and one has to explode it before u can edit it or apply it as a texture to other geometry, in testing the new RC this morning i found that once you drag the image in V-ray creates a linked material to that "image" (not the texture) and once i explode the "image" to make a texture (and edit its colour) v-ray wont recognize that texture or any changes made to its colour is there a way to refresh vray? to make it look at existing textures again?
once you explode the image its name changes (to whatever the file's name was) and vray however still has "image" in its material library...
otherwise happy with new RC...
however had to reinstall first version to open a 30 Meg that refused to update to the new release...
