    You're not the only one.
Free Agent experienced the same thing.
Now, which of the 2 pieces of software should be fixed? Vray or Whaats plugin?

Or SketchUp...Its most likely us that its "technically" causing the problem, but SketchUp doesn't help us by providing very few ways for us to do what we need to or get the correct information. The result is us having to stick our heads in too more places than we'd like and that could be resolved if SU just did things better and more reliably. If its really that much of an issue, we can take out all that stuff and nothing would ever work

Yeh - some of the subroutines of SandD work eg the subdivide, but the interactive bit, where you can stretch the 'proxy' and the model follows the proxy, don't work. I just get a black box.

                      Re: Subsmooth and divide .rb

Having the same problem with the plugins. Untill anyone there bothers to discover the reason simply remove temporarily the Vray script link. Generally, I believe it is Vray's fault since it casuses other bugs in my SU operatons besides this one. I have a lot of crashes with material editing in SU since I installed the latest service release.

let us hope that the developers will ve wise enough to check their compatibility.

Well, my vote is that V-ray changes their plugin

If not, the least they should do is make their plugin a SketchUp extension that can be easily loaded and unloaded by the user without having to temporarily uninstall it every time that a user wants to use the Subdivide and Smooth plugin
