  • Quirk with sun and sky settings.

    Hello!

I have been going along self-instructing by the ASGVIS Vray for Sketchup manual and I have come to PG. 78 (for those who have it handy) and I have completed all the settings (or so I think) as described to create a morning sun effect. But, everytime I render, Vray renders an entirely white image. I set the settings in Sketchup and then mended "Environment" settings under Render Options in Vray. I'm fairly certain I did it all correctly.

Anyone receive this kind of effect and know how to remedy it?

    Thank you!!!

This is cause by the image being over exposed. You don't have to change anything for the sun, but you will have to adjust the exposure of the physical camera. Since you have the manual, you should read up on the physical camera which should be a few pages after the sun. Keep an eye out for Shutter Speed, F-Stop, and ISO.
