Rendering plants

Hi guys
I'm trying to render a building.
I decided to place directly plants from sketchup as components.
But it seems it doesn't render anything of the component I put.
I noticed I have samen kind of problem with other components like furniture and so...
The version in the office I work is not sr1.
Do you think is not possible to fix it?

Try to explode the component and group it or make it as component

It's a known bug in the original release that groups or components doesn't render. I've only experienced groups to not render, whenever that happen I just convert them to components.
