Hi guis, i'm trying to render some objects that have a lot of poligons, but even with the most soft edges applyed, it renders faceted. Any one knows why this happens and how to solve this problem?

If its what I think it is than its either A) a known issue or B) a SU limitation. For A, there's an issue with properly retrieving surface normals that we were unable to resolve within our current render export process. This causes each face to render flat as if its not smooth at all. You can explode the object then remake as a component to rebuild the normals and have V-Ray render it smooth. As I said, this is known, so its something we'll have to address when the scene parsing gets redesigned.
If some parts render smooth and others render jagged, then its likely a problem with SU rebuilding the normals correctly. I'm no SU expert, so there isn't much that I can suggest for a work around with that.Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude
