  • I Can't Render

When I click render, the render progress window says Render Cancelled instead of the usual loading up and processing and rendering. What could be the problem? It wasn't like that before.

Is it because my file is too big now? What is your skp files you work on usually? I have around 70mb. Is that normal?

Hope to hear from anybody soon. I need to resolve this as soon as possible. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Does the window give any other information than just Cancelled?

And does it happen on all models, or just one in particular?

No, it doesn't give any other information. That little window that usually start with Building Cache or something, Render Cancelled appears instead. And the rendering image is plain black.

I tried opening the other model, and it can render normally. I guess its only on that particular file. :-\

The other question, are you using the newest version of VR4SU? And what are you working on that is soooo big. A lot of people need to learn how to model detailed but use groups and components in such a way your file size will stay small. I am working on a downtown revitalization with 10 highly detailed buildings (all in one model which range in size from 1 to 20 stories), full of people, high poly trees and cars and the file size combined is only 68 megs. Let me know if you need help.

Amount of faces and lines doesn't add up too much to the filesize. It's when you add textures things really starts to grow.
