failed to save options to file

Sometimes I can not save the options (visopt) happens to you?
I have tried many ways to get round the problem but nothing!

Never had that problem. XP Pro 32bit, Vista 32bit, Windows7 64bit.

Do you have administrator rights? Do you have permissions to save where you are trying to save? Where are you trying to save? Do you have UAC on or off?

I have administrator rights, now uac is off, but, in other time the problem appear even if i've uac on !
I have permissions to save where I'm trying to save; (the usually place; my work root)
I try to save in usually place but sometime it happens .... this morning for example i've shut down (close) sketchup then reopen it and all tings work right but sometimes is impossible for me to save a specific visopt file (in every place even on a pen drive)..

Basically anything serious ... but curious! and if it was an attitude of the program in other duties, I intend to write to disk (perhaps invisible to us?)

Can you send us a file where this happens? Although its most likely not file based, there may be something we can determine from it. I have never seen this before, but generally I'm on computers without any rights/permissions limitations, which is probably (more or less) what this relates back to.
