Hello to all ...
I am in the mud!
I hope to be quite clear ... my English is a little 'low ... but I so need help!
I'm finishing a project for my portfolio and also to render the off ...
the problem is, if "load" and, believe me, not overloading the model with some components (plants), the program goes into error, not able to write to the temporary folder.
I know that unfortunately is a fairly common problem, I read in the forum, and then try the tips on how you are able acompletare work ....
I state that:
1) If you render a low resolution error does not occur
2) Error in displacement I solved (I think and hope) bringing even edge length (pix) at 50, the error also occurs with displacement amount set to 0
3) the error occurs both with network render on one machine!
4) because of the TEMP is overcrowded (22 gig) but I still have the disk space (15 gig), therefore, now I'm clearing! (and I hope this is of help) 5) any solution for indirect illumination ... IM; LC; QMC also set to not "heavily" mi manda in crash
6) immage sampler - AA -; adaptive DMC subd min 1 max 3 noire thresold 0.1
7) amount adaptive DMC sampler 1 min noise 8 samples thresold 0:01 mult subd 4


100) in my operating system is .... 64 views!

the sky multiplier was set to 11 (probably too much energy ???????)



However I would like some advice from you, feel free to ask me any information (even the most mundane, you never know ...) and will respond promptly! (they are attached to the forum as a leech!)

I hope with this post, to help resolve this problem that I think occurs when you consume too much memory, or you work heavily V-ray for sketchup!

now I have turned off the layer containing some plants, six to be exact, you remember those very beautiful from andeciuala

reboot the system and render....


Nothing, even layer off with the error persists.

Now I have turned off all the plants in the model, so they are lighter and I have disabled (set at zero) the displacement,
the output resolution is 1800 * 1000 but the error persists

1) Resolution 1800 * 1000
2) no component "plant"
Not crashes, but without Plant ..

Now I'm trying with displacement and plants (like when I gave the error), for the moment everything seems to work ....

so,
i've load a asgvis option preset (low IM+qmc)
i've set my own displacement paramethers, my own enviroment BUT I've correct the sun multiplier
NOW SEEMS WORKING

IS POSSIBE THAT HIGH SUN MULTIPLER PARAMETHER CASE THIS CRASH ???

OR, PROBABLY, MY INEXPERIENCE MAKE A DISASTER?

Sorry Davide, but I don't know what might be the exact cause of the error. Other than memory, which it certainly sounds like you could be running out of, or folder access issues, I don't have much else to suggest. I'm going to ask one of our programmers here if he knows what this could possibly relate to.

Alarm back! but it was hard!

Tx damien, now I'm working with vrimg and it is ok ... no crash no pain,
I think that now i'm working only with this "technique"!
I knew this method but I thought it was not so "" "necessary" ""
I believe that the instability of sk and v-ray -going out of memory- is due, in large part, even vista 64 (and you?)

One last thing, if you're listening, I would like to submit some images to render_off that expire tomorrow true?

Even though you have a 64bit system, Sketchup is a 32bit application, so it will suffer from the 32bit limitation regardless.

I have Vista64 with 4gigs RAM. And over 60gb free on each one of my 3 HDs.

If its a question of folder permissions, what is the temp folder I should check out for the right permissions?

problem solved. It was all a question of setting ADMINISTRATOR rights to SKETCHUP itself!

Which was quite weird, since it all begun suddenly...
