Texture dissapearing

Hello all, I'm having this strange problem where I apply the texture to the faces, render to see how it looks - all ok, exit SU and when I load the scene again all the textures are missing, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Coincidentally I did read that thread right after I posted this, my question is where is the temp folder in Vista? I'm more or less computer illiterate. Thanks.

Temp's location specified in the render progress window.

Ok, I deleted everything in my temp folder and still the textures aren't showing, and this is with all my projects so it a huge huge problem, pretty much makes v-ray unusable for me.

From the render process window:
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\Material(10).jpg" failed to load: cannot open file
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\4.jpg" failed to load: cannot open file
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\Material(.jpg" failed to load: cannot open file
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\Material(11).jpg" failed to load: cannot open file
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\Material(9).jpg" failed to load: cannot open file
Bitmap file "C:\Windows\TEMP\Material(7).jpg" failed to load: cannot open file


Any ideas?

Maybe the parentheses in your file names are causing problems...

The textures aren't showing because V-Ray is still looking for them in your temp folder, not where you actually have them saved. For just one of the textures go back and remap it to the original version. That should allow V-Ray to find the rest of the textures in the model.
