Many of the downloadable Vray + SU materials don't work!!!!

What's the deal with that?
I downloaded a number of the vray for sketchup materials and nearly half of them always return the "invalid material file" response when you try and import them...

dammit, it was a small library as is..now its cut in half..
any answers to why this might be?

I'm guessing you have an old version of V-Ray for Sketchup. There's been two service released since the original. The latest version is 1.05.30. Older versions can't read materials and settings from the newer versions.

i get an error when i try to update. its missing the *.se or *.so file in the vray folder ???

Are you on Vista or Windows7?
Are you installing as Administrator or regular user?

vista 64bit, i got it installed only it asks for the key again
