Help! Model won't render now

Starting yesterday I became a paying customer of Vray. Today, I have a serious problem in that my model will not render. I can render other files, just not the one I need! None of the scenes will render. I select a profle, click render, then see the message. The processor spins for about 30 seconds and at the point the render screen shoudl appear, the processor activity drops to near zero and the message stays there forever and nothing happens.

Before this happened, I was tweaking the settings and saving some of the results into profiles.

I have tried existing Sketchup and restarting, as that has cured some of the materials that become invisible in new objects. Now, I don't have a clue what to do next. Does anybody know about this bug?

Remove all materials applied to groups/components and ONLY apply material to faces.
