  • 2sided material help please

has anyone been able to make a 2sided translucent material in the new vray?
because i've been giving the demo a try, but i am not able to make the same 2sided material like in the older version... like for example the featured INDOOR LAMP on the asgvis website, which used to work in the earlier version, but not anymore in this new version of vray4SU..
    any thoughts on that??

Yes, I were able to render a 2sided mat with VfS 1.48.66.
Did you checked the "Force One-Sided" ?

;D feeling quite embarrassed ... after reading the nomers post in another topic about the insane amount of multiplier for lights when using physical camera i went back and reworked the model... also i found out that you should use the VRAY 2sided mtl and not the SU 2sided material for it to work, so here is my little try with the 2sided material as translucent effect...

I'm glad that you worked it out.
If I may comment on your renders, they are looking very goo. I would only turn down a bit the chromatic aberration.

Oh and in my opinion the topic title should be changed, since it's not a VfS "1.48.66 problem". :
