I saw a tidbit about how to keep Sketchup from being active in the background but I can't find it now and its starting to bug me.

Since installing the new Vray (on my Mac) whenever I use a keyboard shortcut for another open program Sketchup is still active in the background and responds to the input. Help me turn this off pleaaase.

    Re: Active in background

Turn off "enable access for assistive devices" in your Universal Access preferences. (Apple->System Preferences->Universal Access)

=/ That didn't seem to help. Thanks for the reply though. That's a very annoying bug if its something that ASGVIS could fix I'd highly appreciate it.

Really? Maybe you need to restart after changing that system preference? Or at the very least restart SketchUp. We had a number of our WIP Testers that encountered the same exact issue, and unchecking that option is what always fixed it for them.

          Ok! Nevermind that, it worked
A good old fashioned reboot did the trick. Thanks again! And sorry for my impatience lol

I'm glad to hear it worked out. This is a very very odd issue, and we would love to fix it... if we could just figure out why it's happening for some people, and not for others. We can't reproduce it here at our office.

Wow, good luck with that. Maybe it has to be a specific combo of Mac software + hardware? I'm running a MacBook Pro first gen (I believe) of uni-body. With Mac OSX 10.5.8

Yeah, unfortunately all we know, is that the issue happens on OS X only... and it only happens sometimes.
