V1.48.83 and progress job window

Hello all,

I've upgraded my VRFS from V1.05.30 to V1.48.83 and it seems to work fine !!! That's great !!

Just a little thing, during render, i don't have the progress job window ??? ???

Any idea ?

"final version" eh? I guess that's a good word for it. Our new core still has a few rough edges. The UI needs some touching up, the progress window isn't there, and there are certain buttons that may result in a crash, but they can all be worked around. We still feel that 1.48.83 is a better product than 1.05.30 though. We will continue to patch and update our latest release until we feel it is solid enough to be left alone while we work on putting out a new version of V-Ray for Rhino, which I guess you could call a final version.

Wait for a Final Version!?
Are you Serious?

Since the progress job windows is missing you can't cancel a render in the middle!!!
How are we supposed to do test renders without the ability to cancel?
Might there be a workaround for enabling the progress window or a way to cancel a render without the window?

This is ridiculous!

Kaizer,
If you close vhe VFB window while it's rendering- it will cancel the render. I know that because when I open the VFB again there no rendering buckets- so no rendering is in process.

hitting the escape key on your keyboard also cancels the render. You have to be sure that the VFB has window focus though (click on the image that is rendering and then hit esc)
