  • 1.48.89 can not save rendering! (vray for sketchup)

    Hello to all of you,

Beeing new here, I've spent some time reading previous posts about saving problems from the Vray Frame Buffer.

I've tried to enter manually the format extension (cf. http://www.screencast.com/users/arac...a-2709deab85e4 ) to solve this issue but whatever format I try, nothing get saved...

I've re-started the computer, re-rendered the scene but got the same problem which is quite annoying...

Any idea how to solve this?

    Thanks

The only problem currently with saving files from the vfb, is if you try to save them somewhere with non english characters in the path name. What folder are you trying to save to, and what is the file name?

I and another at my work have the same issue. After numerous attempts to save from the frame buffer, using different file formats with and without manually entered extensions nothing happens...or so I thought. What I have found is that when I save my file to C:\ and go look for it using "explorer", "Total Commander", cmd, etc. there is seemingly no file. HOWEVER, if I hit save once more in the frame buffer I can see the file where I saved it but with a little 'lock' on the icon. I can then - from the frame buffer save menu - move my rendered files one by one to another drive (in my case D:\). This "unlocks" the files so that I am now able to see them in explorer.... Can anyone explain this ... or ideally, solve the issue as it is driving me nuts. :

1.49.01 has no reported issues that are related to saving files from the vfb. Have you all tried upgrading? I've never heard of THOMAS DAMM's issue before today... anyone else see this behavior on their machines?
