  • Problem rendering with 1.48.89

I'm having some issues when I try to render a scene 100% modeled with 1.48.89, using the Deafult Options config. This is the image:

What could be wrong? Material or options?

    Re: Problem rendering with 1.48.89

wow, that looks crazy... I would say the issue is most likely related to options. You say you're using defaults though? I know there's some funky stuff going on in 1.48.89, where some settings are getting mixed up, but I haven't seen anything that looks like the render you posted yet. I'm curious if this is still happening in our latest beta (1.48.92).

If you are interested in testing the latest beta version to see if it resolves your problem, feel free to sign up for The Mighty Bug Hunt! . Keep in mind that it is a beta version though, so we don't really recommend using it for production or commercial uses. If the error is still happening with 1.48.92 (latest beta version), then we would definitely like to take a look at that scene file that is misbehaving

If you don't want to try the beta, that's perfectly fine. It will be difficult to say exactly what is causing the trouble without seeing the scene file though, if the error log doesn't have anything that helps us determine the cause of the issue. If you are able to share the scene on the forum, (meaning that you don't have to worry about copy written material and the scene file staying private) I recommend uploading the scene to a place like mediafire.com and posting a link to the download.

Otherwise, send an email to our support department (support@asgvis.com), and put this in the email: "Devin told me to send a scene file that demonstrated the error I am having. More details can be found here: http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=8744.0" Make sure to attach the scene file to the email. The scene file will be kept private and not shared with anyone..
