Some times, for some reason, my V-Ray disconnect some/all of my diffuse color maps, overwriting them for a solid gray color. When I try to reallocate the map that was at diffuse color, the preview still gets gray.
Then, I discovered that if I change the texture file name (or copy that texture with another name) then reallocate that "new" texture into diffuse color's mapping, the map works again.
Why does that happens? Sometimes, I'm almost finishing a work and 10+ materials get a gray rendering because of that. Then I have to reallocate all of the diffuse color's maps manually, not to mention the trouble of having to rename/copy all of the faulty textures and that when I reallocate the map through V-Ray, my size mapping get lost, switching to the 25 cm default size to all materials.
