some of you know how to match images sketchup7 (file export) with images of vray (render) when you render scenes created with the "camera match"?

I personally do so, I change the FOV, slightly, and then carried over to the original (I disappears (2D) written by the name of the scene ... but it does not seem an elegant solution

    Re: Photo Match

I don't do anything special, I just render. The SU view and the VfSU view always match...
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

But I now I can not, before I could with no problem, now that I've changed environment (sys op and vray version) no longer works, I just can not understand why.

thanks thom had been so long since I attended the forum, also sketchucation forum, and I see with great pleasure that you are always present (and valuable)

Can you posts some screens of your SU window, your render output and your VRay camera settings?

          Re: Photo Match

Hello to you all, hello thom.
Sorry for my delay in replying in the forum but unfortunately the time available to us to live is always a bit 'pinched Add to this, the time I spend arguing with the new V-ray ... and the days fly.
          I am attaching three screens
The first is nothing less than a set of print screen (animated) on a sk and settings of the camera. You will notice three scenes IMG_0674 (2d) is the camera match sk THE OTHER TWO ARE THE SAME, BUT NOT THE FIRST FULLY STACKABLE HAVE THE APPEAL "(2D)"!

The other two images are respectively
render scenes with SK7 camera match (2d) and render in any of the other two scenes.

          P.S.
As I said in my previous post to remove the name (2D) does not always work, now I had to remove it off and immediately re-enable the option to save everything in perspective view a new scene.

          I hope that I "explained"

The render from the PhotoMatch scene zooms in?

                    Re: Photo Match

If you rotate a camera just a little bit you can have the match.

                        hello,
ill tell you what i do when photo matching and it seems to give a perfect match.
obviously use the photo match tools and ok it when happy with the view.
now you should still see the image and the scene will be xxxxxxx(2D)
now go to CAMERA - FIELD OF VIEW. BUT dont adjust anything!!!
notice how in the measurement box its telling you a value for the camera lens.... simply re enter the exact figure. Now on Mac i simply type the number and hit return... but i believe PC's you have to click TAB then the number etc.
Once you've done this the Photo match image will disappear, then go to the SCENE menu and make it a scene. Now when you render you will get the correct view and FOV but no zooming in and funny perspectives.
It works for me, so let me know!

I see that you are using the material grass planar by Micha... i have the same problem, it shows like a oversized texture...

                            Re: Photo Match

It has to do with the way the Sketchup camera works with different scenes and plugins.
                            Type into the Sketchup Console:

                            Sketchup.send_action 10624

A camera info window will pop up. copy the numbers from when in the photomatch scene into notepad, and paste after moving the camera a bit.
note to change the check on the 2D-3D (opposite of what it is in the photomatch scene)
also note: copy and paste only works through the right click for some reason...

                            That should solve it!

for more info, see thread on sketchucation:

Fernando, this method does not work for me. When I rotate a bit, the whole view zooms way out and the FOV changes automatically to the default.
