I am currently testing the newest version of VFSU as a rendering option for the ID department of the firm i am with but i am running into a pretty big problem.
In a nut shell the problem i have is that the render engine seems to be ignoring my texture size and placement. What i see in the sketchup viewport is much different from what the vray render window puts out. My process is as follows:
I finish modelling a blank scene, no textures.
I load up a handful of vismats and begin to dress my scene.
I then scale and position my textures using the texture controls in sketchup (via right clicking on a texture and editing it)
when i go to render my resulting image has some materials ignoring their placement (ie returning to original scale and orientation) and some others not ignoring (sticking to how i set them).
Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it?
This is quite a MAJOR bug for the render engine to ignore texture placement. But i am hoping it is merely operator failure on my part (could it possibly be the specific vismat files?).
Any help would be much appreciated!!
i have attached a shot of a model from 3dwarehouse (stripped of its own materials) with some of the materials i was using, you can see how the back splash tile, chair fabric, flooring and table top have all ignored their placement. (its not supposed to look pretty just an example)
As well here are the versions I am using:
vfsu - 1.48.98
su - 7.1.6860 (don't like
