  • Problem with omni light and emissive material

    Hey guys!

I have a problem with omni light and emissive material. I placed one omni light on top of every chandelier candle but I get that wierd shadow in the corner every time I try to render.
Also emissive material appears as black color instead of white.

Does anyone have a clue what seems to be the problem?

i guess we would have to see the model to see where those shadows are coming from.
what multiplier value are you using for the emisive material?

It looks like your omni-light might be stuck in part of the model and casting a shadow of the lamp. Try moving the center of the omni-lights to just above any geometry. The emissive material may be facing backwards. Try flipping the faces and see if they render correctly. 100,000 for intensity is wayyyy too much. try somthing like 5.0
