  • SketchUp for VRay Ghost

This has happened to me a few times in the last couple of months. Mostly on complex models with high render settings.

I click render, wait an insanely long time for parsing, then nothing happens. No VFB buffer, no message in the bottom bar of SU. It seems as if VR hasnt started. I close SU. But wait, my computer is really running boggy. Almost as if VR is rendering but I dont even have SU open! So I open Windows Processes and look...

It's a 1.8Gb ghost still running! This seems to have started with this latest Trimble release. I have never experienced this before.

      Hi,

      Can't reproduce this here.
Do you get this issue when dramatically decrease the V-Ray render settings, or it is faces count dependent ?
Can you specify "Total number of faces stored" (from V-Ray log) for this scene?
      Thanks
