Installed it four times. Uninstalled parts as well...which installed seems to do for you. Same error message every time "unable to checkout V-Ray GUI license - ensure your license server is running and you have GUI licenses available".

Ugh. Hard to get any work done when the sketchup / vray thing is in constant change and trouble shooting of installations.

Any insight?

ran vrlservice on my own and it worked. Does not self start as before.

I had the same problem as well. I uninstalles and deleted all existing files and did a fresh install. After restart it seems to work now. It autostarts and closes when I shut down the computer. Maybe you can add the vrlservice with the login items in System Prefs?

elo, stupid question, how do i get vlrservice ? or is it installed with the service pack ?

oh by the way.. i simply could not change my signature !!
i am on MACbook PRO 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 now, 16GB RAM, OSX 10.9.5, WACOM Intuos 5 Touch, Sketchup 2015, VfS 2 with this silly service pack which won't work !!!
