There is an operational related bug when using the magic mouse. You can very easily and unintentionally swipe so that the render window zooms out to the maximum which then stops the render process. It happened to me today after 6 hours of rendering. It drives me mad. From what I know there's no way to pick up the rendering from where it stopped.

Zooming out shouldn't stop the render- do you mean closing the frame buffer window? If you can explain the swipe motion that makes this happen I'll see if someone in the office can reproduce what you're experiencing.Last edited by joe_b; 30-12-2015, 02:06 AM.Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. No the frame buffer window doesn't close. The swipe move just zooms out very quickly and that makes every active bucket finish it's current render and after that it says "Vray finished render". If you can't reproduce it I can easily make a video of it.3D Artist

we have some guys in the office who have done the accidental zooming, but it doesn't seem to cancel the render. Do you have any special key-bindings associated with any gestures? I ask because the only way I can think of cancelling the render is by either pressing "escape" while the vfb is in focus, or by actually closing the vfb entirely.Best regards,

Interesting. Let me figure out how to reproduce it and get back to you with a video in a few days. The only thing I can think of is if the bug occurs when the Command-key is pressed when the "zoom-swipe" happens. I use it to zoom in and out in the frame buffer window with left and right click. I'm pretty certain I can reproduce it shortly. I'm getting back to you soon.3D Artist

Ok, I made a short video of me reproducing it. No special keyboard combinations or anything is required but I did open and close the frame buffer window two times prior to recording this video and when I tried one of the times the problem didn't occur. I had zoomed in and out in the frame buffer window by clicking Cmd+left click and Cmd+Right click a couple of times.
Check the video please, you can skip ahead 36 seconds in when the actual prepass starts. When the render starts I immediately zoom all the way out by swiping upwards on the mouse. See how the render finishes without being done?
