Set camera target/set camera focus

In Sketchup 2016 and Vray for Sketchup 2.00.26579 the set camera target menu item or set camera focus toolbar tool doesn't work. I only use it with DOF and I always have to calculate the distance manually and add it to the override focal distance setting.

Thanks, I'm investigating it further myself but I can't see that I'm doing anything wrong. It would be nice if you could confirm it.

Ok, let me revisit this. It's not like it doesn't work at all. It seems to work from time to time. It's almost like there is a minimal focus length at play. If I set camera target on something in close view it feels like it reverts back to some standard setting and focal plane is moved farther down my scene. If I set an override focal dist I am always able to push it closer to the camera. It's just a bit of a drag having to find just the right distance by trial an error.
