Vray 3.4 very often crashes when changing light brightness with the slider, a bit less when changing as a number and even less when changing brightness in the viewport (a new but utterly clumsy and slow way of changing brightness imho), but crash it will. Giving upto 8 bugsplats in a row in the dock. Mac sierra, pro 2016 AND 2017, with almost all extensions and plugins off. Interactive render freezes often after setting more than two things. Anyone a solution?

This was a known issue in v3.4. It should be resolved in v3.6.
