Hi, i am doing some material tests.. Reflection color is white and reflection glossiness is 1 and it is shining.. I add a b&w map to the reflection glossiness and some parts are not shining as espected.. But when i play with multiplier value of that section, the reflection glossiness is totally gone.. As i know from max videos, if you add a map to the reflection glossiness and make the multiplier 0,6 for example, it affects only the map not entire reflection glossiness value..

Hello,
Is there any texture of this material displayed in the viewport? If only color is displayed, the default UV mapping in SketchUp is set to 1 inch. This may make the material not appear correctly if viewed from distance. Be sure a texture is applied on the material (open the Glossiness map and select the "eye" button below its preview).
If this does not resolve the issue, please send over the material and its associated texture maps either at support@chaosgroup.com or in a forum private message addressed to me. An screenshot illustrating the problem would also be appreciated. I was not able to reproduce the described behavior in our local environment.
Kind regards,
PeterPeter Chaushev
