Vray next random problem

Hello,

please see attached, A was rendering from yesterday, B is what is happening today.

Open an existing file (that was working fine yesterday), open vray asset editor,

Render (same settings as yesterday), file will render.

Save file as new name, render it is fine

Exit sketchup, start Sketchup, start Vray asset editor, file will not render lights & lighting correctly.

I tried:

changing style to shaded

deleting recent components & materials

nothing works after I exit Sketchup.

I noticed that sometimes when I start Vray asset editor, in task manager cpu is at 60%+ for 5-15 minutes. Again this is simply opening asset editor, not starting a rendering.

Interactive rendering is off.

Everything was fine yesterday, then this morning is when the problems started.

I have not made any driver or other software updates in the past few days.

Any ideas?

Hello,

I was able to find a work around to the problem:

I opened a new empty Sketchup file, then copy & paste (in place) a few items at a time from the old bad file into the new file. Geometry, materials, colors, lights, all with Vray information.
New file is working fine.
