  • Ability to store draft and production render settings separately

I'd find it very useful to be able to store a Draft render and a Final render setup separately for a scene/file, that can then be initiated with a single click depending on need. Quicker than saving/loading settings or manually adjusting render output etc.

Unless I'm missing a better workflow that wouldn't require it...

    Hello, Keith,

For the time being, the only option available is saving/loading .vropt files. I know this is far from ideal and furthermore, the .vropt files always include both Camera and Environment settings, thus making some .vropts scene-specific.
That being said, one of our primary goals in the V-Ray for SketchUp development is stripping the complexity of scene setups. I'll pass along your request to our dev team for further discussion.

Could you please help us by providing some additional info about your current workflow? Specifically, what you find the current presets to be missing? What options do you wish to be additionally controlled with quick presets? And most importantly, what do you find yourself most often adjusting when setting up the render quality?

    Kind regards,
    Peter
