  • Dome Light: Lower half rendering black?

    Sketchup 2019 + Next Update 1.1

    The lower half of the background renders black and reflects the interior.

    Glass material is "Glass Window Neutral" with the following modifications:
    Reflection IOR = 25
    Opacity = 0.25

    Everything is Material Override.

    There is only 1 light: Dome Light with the default Vray HDRI image.

    GPU rendering.

    Everything is basically default settings. Auto Exposure, Auto WB.

    What is happening here?

    The domelight has a toggle to be spherical, or half-spherical.
    Check that it's set to spherical, and you'll be ok.
    What you see being reflected is being reflected on the glasses, given their super high IoR (unless you're thinking of very special coated stuff, you'd want your IoR for glass to stay within the 1.3-1.8 range.), and the black background.
