Help with a Render please :)

Hi gang, I am a furniture designer and am just getting started with Vray in order to show my designs. I have attached 2 rendered images of a bed and nightstand. The setup for lights and background is relatively the same but I am getting 2 diff outcomes? The bed looks really washed out with not alot of depth to the wood texture. I have the reflection glossiness the same for both nightstand and bed.

Any help to make these renders look better would be greatly appreciated! I could attach more screen shots of my settings if that would help?

Would it be alright to place both assets in a single project file and to share them with us, so I can inspect it and provide you with a more accurate answer? If this is alright, you can export it by going to Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project, and to send it as an attachment to support@chaosgroup.com or upload it to a file-sharing service of your choice.
