Hi! I'd like to add some video on the screen of my TV model and make an animation. But it looks like it can't be done with Vray in Sketchup. If so, why don't you add such an opportunity? I suppose that I can do an animation of the screen in 3ds max and export a model of TV as a proxy mesh but here in Sketchup I have to add some material to the screen that will contain simple static bitmap so how will it work while I need a video to be applied to the screen bitmap? Maybe you could share some tutorial about this? Thanks!

Hello summerson1990
Please see the following page from our official documentation: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...itmap-Sequence
In order to add a video, a sequence of bitmaps must be used and they must be named with their respective sequence number starting from 0 (e.g. bitmap0.jpg).
The Sequence options can be found in the advanced settings of the bitmaps's properties, which can be activated with this button found under the texture preview:
Please note that playback options are not yet supported.
Let me know if you need any additional assistance or information.Last edited by Zahari.Ivanov; 20-05-2020, 06:49 AM.

Zahari.Ivanov So could you please say does GPU engine supports image sequence function or it doesn't? Maybe this is an issue if normally it should support it.

Hello everybody
I made some tests about sequence bitmap and I observed this:
- Only works (for me) in CPU render engine mode. I've tried with GPU but bitmaps isn't rendered
- Sequence start works only for 1st frame, but not for the next frames (?????)
- When all frames are numbered from 0000 to XXXX works fine, but when the first number is other than 0000 it doesn´t (My first try was with a sequence starting in 0379, renaming frames starting from 0 was the solution)
- When works, it's an amazing way to animate lights (rectangular) and materials. Let me share with you a quick example of a fireplace that I made yesterday for testing this. Link. Hope you like it.

Pablo Arias.

Hello summerson1990
I would like to confirm that the GPU engine does not support bitmap sequences for the time being. We tested and inspected the issue and our developers are on it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
