  • Configuring Poliigon Textures in V-Ray

    I just recently converted to V-Ray for SketchUp (on a Mac). I am loading into V-Ray various Poliigon materials based on instruction provided in their video “Using Poliigon textures in SketchUp with V-Ray.” No problem getting all the maps in place, but struggling in two areas. I think the v-Ray interface has been modified since the video was made so need help tracking down two config items

    Reflection maps need to be inverted. I am supposed to do that in parameters>color manipulation>invert texture, but this menu is nowhere to be found. Can you help me find where it now lives?

    The Glossiness/, Normal and Displacement Maps need to have their color space changed from sRGB to Linear. Also having no luck finding where to do this.

    These are the versions I am using

    SketchUp Pro V20.2.171

    V-Ray for SketchUp 4.20.03

    You have to click on the texture area, settings are there..

      Yes, I have looked extensively in the texture area. Chaos made quite a few changes with the new V-Ray Next interface and the sRGB/Linear setting is now so well hidden it cannot be found, or has been removed. Are you able to locate it and send me a screenshot? Thanks so much.
