Hi,
I am pretty new to all this so go slowly with me.
I have a simple test scene with a wall shape. I have selected one face and turned it into a group and then the other faces have also been made into a group. These two groups are then grouped together. I applied a Roof tile material to the single face group and a plaster material to the other group, The displacement applied to the roof tile material is causing a gap between the two groups, other than negative shift which looks a little odd what can you do to fill the gap? If I make a wall and create a group and apply the Roof tile material to the group and then apply the plaster material to all the faces other than one face to which I apply the Roof tile material you end up seeing the displacement on the plaster texture but the gap is filled.
Sorry I know that this is a confusing way of describing it so I have attached some images to show what I mean. If someone can show me the proper workflow I would be truly grateful as both ways seem flawed to me.
Thanks
Ben
